Prozac Panda! ::2 GIRLS + ONE PANDA BEAR! WHAT COULD GO WRONG?::

Prozac Panda will be our debut comic creation. When I say we, I mean the lovely Robin (&lt;3&lt;3) and I. And Panda! <BR>

The basic run down is:

Our two comic alter egos (names to come soon) both live in Japan (yeah yeah, but its OUR story) They have been friends on the internet for about 2 years and decide to meet up. They meet and though they are different in MOST things they really click. They decide dorm life is just NOT for them, and decide to move in together!

They come across a little panda plushie in the closet of their new apartment. During their moving in party, one of the girls drinks alittle two much and goes to her room for a bit to lay down.
After laying down, she gets restless and pushes everything (pillow included) off the bed. She hears a muffled voice coming from the floor. Somthings talking to itself...upon further inspection, she comes face to face with the panda plushie but its only a DOLL ofter all. And besides, it wasnt talking.
Thinking herself crazy she tosses the panda in the garbage next to her computer. She vows not to drink so much next time, and goes back to the party.

thats what I got so far. Theres more but im still developing it.

Comic Con Artists to Watch # 1: VuduBeri

While wondering thru the convention on Saturday afternoon I stumbled across an artist with the title VuduBeri. She was selling posters that were stunning (these pictures do little justice to the posters) So I had to get them! The above two I had signed and plan on putting them in poster frames. I <3 them!

They are still developing their site so please be understanding. I think they have a bright career in front of them. Ill be watching them! Click the VuduBeri for the site!

So again the job fell through. The reasons? I wasnt a neat freak and I wasnt 'forceful enough' with the children.

I could go into a whole rant about all the things wrong with that women and her family but it would prob. be pointless.

Well, ok....ill do it anyways. First of all I will start with her parenting. I have never seen a parent spend less time with their children EVER. She doesnt even eat dinner with them. She pawns them off on the nanny from the moment they wake up to the time they are put to sleep.

They have almost NO books. And if you know me at all, thats almost child abuse in my book. Reading is SO important for the developing brain. They are like sponges right now. Reading To Children Is *Essential* for so many reasons:

Reading to young children encourages and fosters creative thinking skills, promotes reading as an enjoyable activity, provides an educational opportunity for children to grow and develop mentally, gives children an appreciation and respect for books, enhances language and vocabulary development, and allows for quality family time, among other things.
And I dont have to be a parent to know that its a great bonding exp. for children and parents.

Another thing, she claimed that she is an excellent communicator. What crap! Her expectations were never clear, fuzzy at best, and I always felt like she was holding back. I cannot work with somone who isnt open and clear about what I need to do.

She is also a little...well, she treats me as though I was an idiot. As some of you MAY know I have yet to get my lisence. And thats all well and great, but she would point it out over and over again, like..well if you could drive you coud be ______________ (insert whatever you want here).
She wanted to know why I hadnt yet gotten my lisence. Well, she KNOWS that I had no money for a car or insurence and my parents arent going to buy me one. So she was like, well can you have your lisence by next week. I explained that I have yet to get my permit even. So she said just go take the dumb test and if you fail take it again.

It was as if she was pushing me into getting it done so I could drive ASAP. But I TOLD her it wouldnt be for awhile as im not going to rush through it and have little to nill experience. I expressed that I would work on driving until I felt comfortable enough to pursue my lisence. She want pleased. She kept pushing and pushing. God, did she want me to just rush through it so i could get into an accident with her children just because she PUSHED me to?

anyways. so im interviewing more families and crap.

This is SO anoyying.

you have no idea. >< lucky you. but I am young and its not gonna kill me. just annoying as fuck.
